Welcome to June, the days will soon start to get longer!
My Mobile Accountant is celebrating the first anniversary of being in our office.
In conjunction with some of our amazing clients, we have some great prizes on offer!
Our Values:
Accountability- We take ownership of ourselves and our actions.
Transparent- We are informal and speak plain language.
Integrity- We communicate in an open and honest manner so you can trust what we say.
Environment- We recognise our responsibility to reduce our waste.
These values are a part of who we are as people and as a business. In our business this is observed internally in our interactions as leaders and between our employees. Also externally with all organisations that we interact with. Whether they are our clients, suppliers, IRD, CAANZ or any other affiliated businesses.
2021 Waikato Business Summit – 26 May 2021
Shannon and Shelley travelled to Hamilton to attend this business summit. It was fantastic to listen to speakers like:
David Bell from Xero, speaking about unlocking the value of Wellbeing through Leadership and Technology.
Chris O’Reilly from Ask Your Team about empowerment and the elephant in the room.
Sharon Zollner, Chief Economist at ANZ New Zealand for an Economic update.
Deputy Prime Minister – the Hon Grant Robertson for his view.
That was just a sample of whom we listened to.
While we were up north we also visited a new client in Cambridge and one in Auckland. So all in all it was a very successful trip north.
Introducing Sarah Mischefski,
our new team member!
What is your role at My Mobile Accountant?
Assistant Accountant.
Where were you born?
Taranaki.
What do you do in your spare time? Any hobbies?
You’ll find me engaging in anything active from surfing & hiking to keeping up with my Jack Russell x Foxy puppy who also likes to go 100mph. I’m a real social butterfly and enjoy sampling Pinot Noirs, and the odd whiskey.
My time is often spent with my partner who embraces my electric energy & laughs at my dad jokes.
I’m also writing a book of self-created metaphors; it’s called Just Like Honey so keep an eye out for it in the coming months if poetry is something you enjoy reading.
What are three things on your bucket list?
It’s always been near the top of my list to visit Greece! I’ve eaten all the pasta in Italy, and this spot was next on the list. But in all honesty, I’m not one to create a bucket list.
My adventures & experiences all happen in the moment they are meant to & you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll enjoy every second of it when they do.
If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
To fly without wings.
Do you have any hidden talents?
My banana loaf is world famous in New Plymouth.
I find the fun in anything I do, my mischievous smile may have something to do with that.
And this is my story 😊
