Hello!

2021 seems to be speeding past us we are near the end of May already! Thank you to all who attended our EOFY Celebration! It was a great evening and we loved talking to you all on a non-business level. There isn't a whole lot to include in this section as we cover a lot more further down!

Early May brings the departure of... me (Kelsey!)

I'm so sad to be leaving the MyMA team and our awesome clients - but the wonderful city of Brisbane awaits me!

Shelley and Shannon have been absolute gems to work for and I love coming into work for another day of fun and banter.. even the days when we are in dead silence focusing work is still somewhere I love to be! They have gone above and beyond to support me as I went through a lot of health issues and testing - so thank you!

The Year That Has Been


The following are little snippets pulled from Shannon's great 'short words' at our EOFY Celebration! But like she said, it's not her fault there's so much, It's the years fault!


Last year saw curveballs thrown everyone's way and we can't thank you all enough for your patience over these times. January last year saw us bring Kelsey on board. She took on administration of some clients and her role has evolved into Marketing and Social media as well. An exciting note to bring up is she has been working on our brand new website which now live! We are so excited for this and can't wait for you all to see.

March brought us into lockdown at the very last week of the month. We dropped what we were doing to help you all with the wage subsidy and payroll implications because of it, we wanted to make sure your businesses and livelihoods were going to get through the new and unknown! Leaving lockdown we continued our search for an office premises!

We finally found our Hub in July - hard to believe it has almost been a year! We will be having a celebration so keep your calendars clear! We are also collaborating with some of our wonderful clients to offer an amazing giveaway so make sure you follow us on social media for your changes to win!


Last year was also a year of health issues for both Shelley and Shannon. Shelley being in a moon boot and having a shoulder injury and Shannon ended up quite ill and in hospital for a month - she is still recovering six months later! Thankfully, during these times we had just hired Sue! Sue has been amazing and helped relieve some of the stresses from this! In December, we then welcomed Katryna to the team! She has been absolutely fabulous and has started taking the payroll and admin work from us so we can focus on other things.

It had certainly been a stressful run up to the 31st of March, but we have almost all of our tax returns done, with only a few left to complete! This year is going to be another busy year, but we can't wait! We're certain there will be more bumps and sharp turns that we will have to overcome but we have a great team that we are sure will navigate through!

We have a few exciting events this year, including The Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase and Business awards. Thank you all for your support over the past year and your understanding as we made our way through these things outside of your control.
