Wow - these last few months have been all over the place with our COVID-19 Levels going up and down as well as some rather large earthquakes!
The Government have support out there for any businesses effected - we'll touch base on that lower!
The 2021 Financial year constantly threw obstacles our way with many of us adapting to a new way of running our businesses. To celebrate getting through the year, on the 23rd of April we are holding an End of Financial year celebration and would love for you to come along! More on that further into the newsletter.

Important Dates
23 April - End of Financial Year Celebration at the MyMA Hub! Join us for drinks and nibbles.
7 May - Your GST return and payment is due for the taxable period ending 31 March.
28 June - Your GST return and payment is due for the taxable period ending 21 May.
28 Aug - Your GST return and payment is due for the taxable period ending 28 June.
Resurgence Support Payment'
The Resurgence Support Payment (RSP) is a payment to help support viable and ongoing business or organisations due to a COVID-19 alert level increase to level 2 or higher. If your business or organisation is facing a reduction in revenue due to an alert level increase, you may be eligible for the RSP.
When the RSP is activated, eligible businesses and organisations can apply to receive the lesser of:
$1,500 plus $400 per full-time equivalent (FTE) employee, up to a maximum of 50 FTEs
four times (4x) the actual revenue decline experienced by the applicant.
Applications for the alert level escalation on 15 February 2021 have now closed.
Applications are open to businesses and organisations affected by the alert level escalation of 28 February 2021. The last day for applications is Monday 12 April 2021. Applicants must demonstrate that their 30% decline in revenue is for this alert level period.

What is your role at My Mobile Accountant?
Administrative/Payroll Services and AML Compliance Officer. I.e whatever Shelley and Shannon tell me to do.
How long have you been with the business?
I started working for My Mobile Accountant Ltd in December 2020, so relatively new. After working for a bank for the past 13 years it was time for a change.
Where were you born?
Born in Auckland, come to New Plymouth when I was 12 years of age with family and been here since, love Taranaki with its diverse scenery.
What do you do in your spare time? Any hobbies?
Spare time - Love spending time with my family and our newest addition, my beautiful granddaughter. Me and my husband love going to concerts and really any musical event and, relaxing with friends.
What are three things on your bucket list?
One definitely Hot Air Ballooning, More travel, would love to go to Greece and travel to the islands, definitely Samoa.
If you could have one super power, what would it be?
To be invisible... imagine what you could see!!!!
