2021 RECAP
We will be closing from 23rd December 2021 until the 10th of January 2022.
The October/November GST is due 15 January 2022.
To enable us to get the GST completed well before the due date and avoid any stress and strain that could happen during this period, if you could have all your information to us before 17 December 2021, we can certainly get this all completed before January and avoid any late filing penalties.
My Mobile Accountant celebrated our one year anniversary of moving into the MyMA Hub in Moturoa, with a corresponding campaign and celebration prize draw, which was won by Sharon Devlin of Graphix.
The Taranaki Chamber of Commerce held its annual showcase, and My Mobile Accountant had a lot of fun at our stall. We were also featured in the Chamber’s Business review.
Shannon and Shelley travelled to Hamilton to attend the Waikato Business Summit, listening to some inspirational speakers, and visiting some clients along the way.
My Mobile Accountant has enjoyed supporting the community.
During the year, My Mobile Accountant supported charitable organisations, such as Taranaki Young Persons Trust, and Wise.
Some highlights from Shelley.
Hello everyone,
So another year has nearly passed, and like last year, it has been a bit of a sleigh ride. Stops and starts, highs and lows. I would like to thank all my clients for staying with me for another year, and for all your patience with me and my team.
We appreciate all of you, so thank you.
I would also like to thank my staff, because without them, this business would not be the business that I want to create and to offer services to our clients.
To start with, Shannon, who is not only my daughter, but also my business partner. She is going through a few medical issues at the moment and is doing well. Even though Shannon is on leave, she still thinks of us and helps us out. Since Shannon joined forces with me, this business has grown, so I want to thank her for all her hard work. She is an inspiration to us all, and a really neat lady and we all love her.
Continuing on, the next staff member is Katryna, who has now been with us for a whole year. Katryna started with us last year on the 7 December 2020 and has done extremely well in learning our systems, which are so different from her previous role with the bank. Katryna brings her bubbly and positive attitude to work with her every day and it is a privilege to work with her.
Next is Ajanta, who started with us in July this year. Ajanta is also a bright and bubbly personality and we love working with her. Ajanta has re-trained and upskilled herself so that she can work in the accounting industry. Did you know that Ajanta has a Bachelor in Mathematics! She is one smart cookie.
Another staff member who works part-time with us is Sarah. And she is another amazing lady. Her bubbly personality and wicked sense of humour, has us all in stitches.
There have been a few legislative changes that we have had to deal with as well as wage subsidies and resurgence payments this year. So who knows what next year is going to bring, but we will be here for all our clients to help them through whatever the next year brings.
